Rainforest Preservation Gathering
Join us on Thursday, Aug 22th, to hear exciting updates on our rainforest preservation efforts, and learn more about how to help support the preservation of the sacred lands and culture Sapara tribe in Ecuador.
We will share details about how we were led to partner with this specific tribe, and their spiritual and political leader, Manari Ushigua, a shaman and climate activist who has worked with his wife, Belen Paez, and the Pachamama Alliance, to help prevent industrial extraction across the Amazon and conserve over 276,000 hectares of primary forest.
In November we will be traveling to the Amazon to meet with Minari and the Sapara people, learn what we can do to help, and more importantly, learn what we can do to “change the dreams” of ourselves and our own people, which are leading to the environmental crisis the Indigenous peoples of the Amazon are facing.
We will share opportunities to start learning the sacred ways of the ancient Sapara dream culture, some of which are now available online. We will also do a few journeys and practices together related to this.
